The Dixie Six is an experienced and enthusiastic band, playing tunes in the New Orleans style of jazz. This sextet is a colourful and cheerful Dixie Band peforming at Outdoor events, Receptions, Weddings and Grand Openings. The Dixie Six has the following line up:-

The Sounds of Swing Quartet
As a band of professional musicians, we have established ourselves as a reliable and competent source of entertainment throughout the south of England. We can vary the size of band from duo through to quintet and our experience in past engagements will aid you in your choice.The band are equally at home roaring about at an atmospheric jazz club or playing during dinner providing incidental music at a sensible volume. Our repertoire includes tunes and compositions made famous by Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Charlie Parker to name but a few. The jazz quartet takes care of their immaculate stage dress and presentation. Dress can be varied to suit the requirements of the engagement.

Simply Sax, a solo live performance with high quality recorded accompaniment, is ideal for background entertainment, where space to perform and finances are more limited, or where the simplicity of the saxophones lyrical character can be more fully appreciated. Simon Currie's career spans more than 20 years, playing with the jazz greats such as Johnny Dankworth, Cleo Lane, George Shearing, Nancy Wilson, Mel Torme and pop stars such as Stevie Wonder, George Benson, The Temptations, TheThree Degrees and Sammy Davis Jnr. Simon Currie plays music from a wide range of popular modern styles and tastes.
